Description
LumiScan Aztec Code Reader finds Aztec codes in a camera image and reports, for each one, what it says and where it is.
It reads Aztec codes — the compact 2D symbology with a bullseye finder pattern at its centre, which needs no quiet zone around it and so suits tickets, labels and small parts where there is no room to spare. Every code found in the image is reported: there is no limit of one per run, and no reference picture or training step of any kind.

The application needs no template and no configuration. You give it the address of an image and

The application moved in 1.1.0
The application’s base path changed from hdvisionsystems/lumiscan-aztec-code to
hdvisionsystems/lumiscan-aztec-code-reader, the name the other code readers already use.
Anything addressing the old path — a PLC, a REST client, a saved app state — must be repointed. The node names below the application are unchanged, so only the prefix moves.
Where the images come from
The application does not talk to a camera itself. It reads an image node published by another
application on the Data Layer - the ctrlX Data Layer on ctrlX OS, LumiScan Keryx on a PC - given as
an address in input/image-address, for example:
What is the same for every LumiScan app - how addresses are built, the handshake, execute and stream call patterns, status codes, settings and tools - is described in the LumiScan Keryx manual. This manual covers only what is specific to LumiScan Aztec Code Reader; its own nodes are listed in the Data Layer Reference.
hdvisionsystems/lumiscan-cam-driver/camera1/output/image
The node must publish data, width, height and pixel-type, which is what LumiScan Cam Driver
provides. See Requirements.
No modules
Unlike the LumiScan applications that search for a configured thing, this reader has no modules. There is one reader per installation, at one Data Layer address. On ctrlX OS one licence seat covers it.
There is nothing per-instance to configure because there is nothing to configure at all: the only input that changes between runs is which image to read.
