Moving the Key to Another PC

Licences on the LumiScan Key are not bound to a PC. To use LumiScan software on another PC:

  1. Close all LumiScan applications on the current PC.

  2. Remove the LumiScan Key.

  3. On the other PC, install CodeMeter Runtime 9.00 or later (see Installing CodeMeter Runtime) and the LumiScan software.

  4. Connect the LumiScan Key and start the software.

You do not need to contact HD Vision Systems or request a licence update to move the key.

For apps bought in the ctrlX Store and running on Windows 11, the licence is held in ctrlX WORKS. Moving that licence to another PC follows the Bosch Rexroth rules for ctrlX WORKS. The LumiScan Key itself moves as described above.
