Which folders do I need to create before starting?

Answer

Create one folder for the Runner and one for the Trainer on the computers on which they run:

  • Runner folder: must contain the subfolders networks (trained networks received from the Trainer, empty at the beginning) and training_data (image data). These names are predefined and cannot be changed. Select this folder as Annotated Data Directory.

  • Trainer folder: two subfolders with names of your choice. One receives the training data from the Runner (Training Data Directory); the other holds the trained networks in subfolders named yyyy-mm-dd (Trained Network Directory).
