User Qualifications and Intended Use
These instructions facilitate the safe and efficient use of the product and should be available to the user at all times.
Failure to do so may result in fire, electric shock, or other injury or damage.
The LumiScan X system is intended for use as described. It should only be operated by trained users and only with the equipment described in this documentation and under the conditions described in this documentation.
The LumiScan X system is not intended for use in security applications, particularly where the safety of persons is dependent upon the operation of the device.
The user bears sole responsibility for the consequences of improper use and failure to follow the safety instructions in this documentation.

Make sure that the system has reached the optimum temperature before you achieve the best results.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any malfunction caused by exposing the product to temperatures outside of this range.
Accessories Compatibility
Use of an unauthorized power supply may result in electric shock, fire, and/or burns. This could result in serious injury or even death:

Only use power supplies that meet Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) and Limited Power Source (LPS) requirements.

If a powered HUB or switch is used, it must also meet the LPS requirements.
Repairs
Repairs, especially those that require opening the unit, may only be performed with the express permission and assistance of the manufacturer’s service department.
Unauthorized opening voids the warranty and may result in electric shock, personal injury and/or damage to the product.
Safety Instructions
The LumiScan X camera is a precision instrument. To minimize the risk of damage to the device or personal injury:

Inspect the unit for damage before use. If the product is damaged, contact our customer service department.

Do not use a damaged product.

Do not drop the device and do not expose it to physical stress.

Do not use the device near heat sources, food, excessive dirt, dust, oil, chemicals, or in direct sunlight.

Prevent liquid, flammable or metallic substances from entering the camera housing.

Do not expose the device to rain, snow, fog, or other moisture. Water can penetrate the hardware components and cause corrosion, which may shorten the service life or cause malfunction.

Do not use a hair dryer, tumble dryer, or microwave oven to dry your device. If your device gets wet, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.

Do not open the housing of the camera. Touching it may damage internal components.

Do not place magnets near the product.

Avoid static electricity.

Make sure that the required voltage and frequency match the available power source.
