Generated Data and Files

The locations of the data generated at runtime are listed in Table 7.

In this chapter, HDVAppData refers to the following path:

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\HD Vision Systems GmbH

Output type	Description
Log data	Log files are stored in `<HDVAppData>\LumiScan VGR\logs`. The log files use a rotating file system. Each file has a maximum size of 10 MB. When this size is reached, a new log file is created. A maximum of five log files is retained; when an additional file is created, the oldest file is deleted.
Crash dumps	If the application crashes, a memory dump is created in `<HDVAppData>\LumiScan VGR` for further analysis.
Data	Contains recorded and calculated output data. The output folder and the types of data to be exported are defined in the settings file. Some output options can also be enabled or disabled through the user interface in admin mode (see A1). Related output files use the same base name, for example a common timestamp.
Training data	Training data is stored in the `training_data` folder within the project Settings folder.
